Merchandise Vendor
The Executive Board would like to have in place a merchandise vendor in 2010. They would like bids to review at their Executive Board meeting on Saturday night, November 14 and would like to have a person hired by first of year so that they can inform promoters of it at Fair Managers Convention.

Feel free to call the office (419-289-6560) or Frank (419-496-8650) if you have additional questions or would like to let us know that you are interested in producing and selling merchandise for our upcoming 2010 pulling season.

OSTPA Scholarship Program
On January 16, 2010, OSTPA will award at least $500 in scholarship(s). Winner(s) will be revealed at the 39^th annual OSTPA Banquet at the Columbus Airport Marriott.

The following criteria has been set by the OSTPA Executive Board:
1. Application and Essay must be received by: December 31, 2009.
2. Essay Topic: “What pulling family means to me.”
3. Essay Length: One page.
4. Scholarship must be used to further recipient’s education. (Job-Tech school or College)
5. Eligible students must be either a high school senior or college student and is a puller or a family member of an OSTPA puller, crew person or tech official/worker.
6. Scholarship check will be written directly to the school/college.
7. $500 in scholarship(s) to be awarded.

An application will be mailed with the November newsletter or you may request an application by calling the OSTPA office (419-289-6560). Please feel free to call the office if you have additional questions.

Please note: Two quilts made from a collection of puller’s t-shirt designs will be auctioned at the OSTPA Banquet to help fund the scholarship program. In addition, Todd and Tarry Feiss will be donating a “Planter” layered with dirt from pulling tracks in ’09 to be auctioned for this cause too. Come prepared to bid on these great items!
